Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following terms govern all transactions in respect of tele-consultations offered by Giridhar Eye Institute, including appointment booking and refunds, whether through the website or its authorized third-party websites.

The services available on the website do not in any way constitute an invitation or recommendation to avail the tele-consultation Services, and are not intended to be a substitute for a face-to-face consultation with a doctor. Giridhar Eye Institute advises users to make an independent assessment of accuracy, usefulness and suitability prior to making any decision in reliance on the Services.

Rescheduling and Cancellation

  1. The deadline for rescheduling and cancellation shall be 1 hour before the consultation time.
  2. Rescheduling can be initiated by the user over the phone by contacting the tele-consultation executive on 0484-4170000.
  3. Cancellation can be initiated by the user by clicking the cancellation link provided in the confirmation email from Giridhar Eye Institute.

Electronic Payments / Refunds

  1. Giridhar Eye Institute offers online payment. You may use internet banking, debit/credit card or UPI for consultation charges. You will be directed to our trusted payment-gateway partner once you proceed to pay.
  2. Giridhar Eye Institute shall not be liable if incorrect or inaccurate card/UPI details are provided, if you use a card/UPI not lawfully owned by you, or if you permit a third party to access your account.
  3. Your payment information is kept confidential at all times and is not shared with third parties unless it is an authorized third-party website and/or required by law, regulation or court order.
  4. Refunds may be made where a request is raised by clicking the cancel link in the confirmation email within the stipulated deadline mentioned above.
  5. Refunds are made only against genuine and trackable cancellation requests generated by clicking the cancellation link in the appointment confirmation email. Refund requests against delays, the nature of advice obtained, the efficacy of treatment, or health outcomes of the consultation will not be entertained.
  6. Refunds may be processed within 15 working days from receipt of a request. All communication regarding refunds should be sent to giridhar.econsultation@gmail.com.

You have the option to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment, strictly within the stipulated deadlines mentioned in the clauses above.
